Beschreibung

• Prepare accurate and timely financial reporting for assigned grants • Produce timely and accurate grant invoices in accordance with grant requirements • Maintain knowledge of requirements for assigned grants • Monitor budget-to-actual performance and communicate needed adjustments • Ensure compliance with OMB/2 CFR200 and grant-specific financial requirements • Prepare grant expenditure reports and financial reporting for government, corporate, and foundation grants • Review grant allocations and spend-down strategies • Verify grant revenue and expenses by funder • Monitor expense allocations and review accounting transactions for coding, grant application, and allowability • Complete year-end and financial monitoring activities • Mentor Grants Accountants and foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement • Review and oversee grant spend-downs and implementation plans • Improve systems and workflows and implement efficiencies • Maintain strict confidentiality of accounting, payroll, employee, member, and organizational information

🎯 Anforderungen

• Degree in accounting or 4–5 years working in an accounting role • 4–5 years of experience in non-profit accounting • Accuracy and time management skills • NetSuite or equivalent system experience • Knowledge of AmeriCorps regulations, OMB/2 CFR200, GAAP, FASB standards, applicable laws, and internal controls • Ability to travel locally and statewide as needed to attend meetings • Ability to communicate effectively with people and groups in multiple settings • Ability to utilize existing and emerging technology • Ability to transport moderately heavy objects up to 25 pounds
