Description

• Collaborate with portfolio company executives, deal teams, and operating partners to develop and shape value creation strategy aligned with the Investment Thesis • Build trust with stakeholders and help lead portfolio company executive teams in prioritizing strategic initiatives and developing Value Creation Plans • Drive critical priorities and outcomes through practical solutions and action plans • Establish processes and governance to track strategic initiatives and provide transparency into value creation activities • Identify improvement opportunities and monitor risks to the Investment Thesis and annual plan • Address potential challenges proactively • Act as a counterpart to portfolio companies’ Directors of Strategic Programs and connect them to the broader Vista ecosystem • Reprioritize competing demands across multiple portfolio companies and deal teams using independent judgment • Identify and support implementation of AI use cases and track and report AI impact metrics • Lead and support internal cross-functional strategic projects that improve Vista’s best practices and portfolio company outcomes

🎯 Exigences

• Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA from a well-regarded program strongly preferred • Approximately eight to twelve years of post-undergrad experience • Experience at a leading management consulting firm, spanning strategy and operational/implementation work • Experience in an operating role owning execution and outcomes, ideally within a software, technology, or high-growth business • Extensive process and project management experience with a structured approach to problem-solving • Genuine, hands-on interest in AI and emerging technology • Comfortable piloting and iterating on imperfect first versions • Experience with go-to-market and/or product organizations and processes • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Influential leadership skills • Ability to lead and manage relationships with executive audiences and senior stakeholders • Ability to bring structure to large, complex questions with limited guidance • Ability to multitask and operate independently • Based in Austin, Chicago, or remote • Willingness to travel to work onsite with portfolio companies as required
