📋 Description

• Deliver teaching, learning, dissertation supervision, and academic support to students • Act as a Named Personal Academic Coach for a defined student caseload • Serve as the primary academic point of contact for assigned students • Create high-quality digital teaching materials aligned with learning objectives • Complete formative and summative assessment marking promptly • Provide high-quality feedback • Reflect on teaching and learning practice and develop skills with support as needed • Undertake administrative and quality assurance activities • Participate in marking standardisation and teaching observations • Contribute to School-level activities, including reviewing ethics applications • Support research methods workshops • Work under the line management and guidance of a Senior Lecturer

🎯 Requirements

• BSc degree or higher in Psychology with Graduate Basis for Chartership (GBC) recognised by the British Psychological Society (BPS) • Excellent breadth and depth of the core BPS curriculum, including qualitative research methods • Knowledge of subjects including forensic, counselling, clinical, and cyberpsychology • Ability to communicate specialist or technical Psychology material effectively • Ability to contribute to programme enhancement • Confidence using common digital platforms • Some experience teaching or providing academic support • Specialism in occupational/business psychology • Ability to teach quantitative and qualitative research methods • Ability to teach selection and assessment, learning and development, motivation, leadership, workplace wellbeing, work design, and organisational change • Desirable: MSc or equivalent qualification in Psychology with GBC recognised by BPS • Desirable: AdvanceHE Recognition—Associate FHEA, or willingness to achieve within 12–18 months • Willingness to engage in appropriate applied AI practices • Applicants must meet the role's eligibility and right-to-work requirements; sponsorship may not be available
