📋 Description

• Checkatrade is the go-to marketplace for trades and consumers alike, and we are on a mission to be the trusted foundation of every home. • As an Account Executive, SME at Checkatrade, you will be instrumental in expanding our trade base across different regions and categories. • This role is focused on new trade acquisition, requiring you to proactively identify high-potential businesses and guide them through the entire journey, from initial outreach to deal closure. • Your core responsibilities will include driving revenue growth by acquiring new small and medium trade businesses, conducting in-depth market analysis, engaging in cross-functional collaboration, building comprehensive product knowledge, and managing the full outbound sales cycle.

🎯 Requirements

• 2-3 years of commercial and new sales experience in similar markets or industries, with a strong emphasis on outbound acquisition. • Proven expertise in identifying potential new clients, developing tailored proposals, and a demonstrable track record in achieving revenue targets using effective commercial techniques. • Exceptional communication skills to build strong, trusting relationships with tradespeople and collaborate effectively with internal teams. • Capable of managing cross-functional responsibilities and initiatives, continuously improving ways of working and contributing innovative ideas to brainstorming sessions with the team. • Experienced in customer relationship building, with strong communication skills whether engaging digitally or in-person. • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce), outbound outreach tools, and an understanding of AI optimization tools. • Tenacity, motivation, and resilience are crucial to thrive in our dynamic test & learn environment.
