📋 Description

• Manage and monitor Windows and Linux operating systems and supporting infrastructure • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools • Ensure high levels of system and infrastructure availability through proactive monitoring and maintenance • Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and work with development teams to implement solutions • Maintain security controls, backup solutions, and redundancy strategies, including NetBackup • Develop and maintain scripts to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention • Contribute to the design and enhancement of information and operational support systems • Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support for infrastructure-related issues • Collaborate with vendors and internal IT teams to resolve technical problems and improve service delivery

🎯 Requirements

• 3 years of network administration-level work experience • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience • Proven experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows and Linux environments • Solid experience administering EMC and major SAN solutions • Experience with VMware/ESX administration and configuration • Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies, including Docker • Experience with monitoring tools including Zabbix and Nagios • Experience with automation platforms such as SaltStack and Puppet • Strong understanding of infrastructure availability, performance monitoring, and systems administration best practices • Currently hold or be able to attain SC/NPPV3 clearance • Experience in Telecommunications, Technology, or complex B2B services environments (nice to have)
