📋 Description

• Act as a point of contact for support queries via phone, email, and ITSM tools • Escalate specialist or highly complex cases when required • Log, categorise, and triage tickets within SLAs • Troubleshoot and resolve common and complex escalated issues • Reproduce issues internally and liaise with developers regarding software defects • Support upgrades, patches, and configuration changes • Query databases, read error logs, and diagnose issues with .NET applications • Contribute to knowledge base articles, support documentation, and root cause analysis • Deliver excellent customer service through clear, professional communication • Mentor colleagues by sharing technical knowledge • Support developers and technical client resources with further investigations • Work closely with 2nd/3rd line and engineering teams

🎯 Requirements

• Degree with IT/scientific content or equivalent professional certification is preferred; relevant experience is also considered • Eligible to work in the UK at the point of application • Ability and willingness to attend customer premises occasionally • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills with attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Customer-focused mindset with empathy, professionalism, and a strong customer service ethos • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team • Working knowledge of, or willingness to develop, SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel • Exposure to IT support/helpdesk environments is desirable • Knowledge or experience of cloud service environments such as Microsoft Azure is desirable • Familiarity with healthcare IT systems, NHS systems, or other regulated environments is desirable • OS experience with Windows Server (2012 onwards), Kubernetes, and some Linux is desirable • Existing knowledge of networking and web server troubleshooting is desirable • Experience working within a Quality System is desirable
