📋 Description

• Create solution architecture definitions for assigned change projects • Support delivery of business outcomes benefiting customers and colleagues • Design and implement customer-centric, high-performance, secure, robust end-to-end integration solutions • Connect Online Banking and Colleagues platforms with the Core Banking Platform • Leverage REST APIs defined using OpenAPI specification and Kafka messaging • Collaborate across teams to define solutions aligned with strategic target architectures and roadmaps • Support growth of architecting capability through knowledge sharing, best practices, lessons learned, and mentoring • Support enterprise and solution architecture throughout the engineering development lifecycle • Provide technical guidance, resolve architectural impediments, and champion architecture patterns and practices • Work with Security Engineering and Risk teams to embed security patterns and best practices • Define minimum viable solution architectures with programme stakeholders • Present solution designs and architecture decisions to architecture boards • Support technology selection and integration using approved catalogues and patterns • Embed architecture guidance in CI/CD pipelines using a DevOps mindset • Create architecture documentation using Bank templates • Define, document, and implement solutions using TOGAF and the Bank’s architecture method

🎯 Requirements

• Practitioner knowledge of solution architecture frameworks • Knowledge of modern technologies including Cloud, microservices, and AI • Knowledge of agile architecture and DevOps practices • Deep understanding of business use cases and emerging trends • Practitioner experience defining and developing strategic solution architectures aligned with organisational objectives • Experience engaging with organisational partners to define architectures delivering tangible business outcomes • Experience with collaborative decision-making involving business and technology colleagues • Experience overseeing and assuring architecture design quality, with focus on risk management and governance • Experience supporting architecture and design reviews • Experience developing people capability, including mentoring, supporting professional development, encouraging knowledge sharing, and promoting best practices
