📋 Description

• Serve as primary client point of contact and participate in proposal activities and client presentations • Oversee all aspects of clinical research trials and assigned portfolios • Direct project managers through project establishment, planning, initiation, procurement, execution and closing • Manage study budgets, scope, change orders and financial health • Develop or oversee comprehensive project plans, timelines, risk mitigation and change management • Ensure quality management and eTMF inspection readiness • Establish tracking metrics for trial and team progress • Prepare client and senior-management status updates, KPIs, solutions and opportunities • Lead internal and client meetings and drive program- or study-level strategies • Oversee cross-functional project teams and trial execution • Communicate sponsor and management issues, deviations and required actions • Conduct formal presentations, including bid defenses • Ensure study-specific training and compliance • Support business development and marketing, including bid defense travel • Mentor associate, project and senior project managers • Contribute to departmental updates and company SOPs • Provide ongoing feedback and annual performance reviews for functional team members • Identify project-level performance problems and ensure corrective actions • Complete training, time-reporting and administrative duties • Travel domestically and internationally as required

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced full service Project Director in clinical trials, particularly oncology • Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience in a science or health-related field (EU) • Advanced degree preferred • Minimum of 8 years of clinical research experience or proven competencies for the position • Minimum of 5 years of direct project management experience • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Project, eTMF, EDC and CTMS • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Experience managing highly complex and global studies or a portfolio of studies • Mastery knowledge of ICH-GCP and relevant Precision SOPs • Excellent knowledge of project management techniques and tools • Highly experienced in cross-functional project management • Strong understanding of cross-functional management, project planning, risk management and change management • Highly experienced in pharmaceutical and/or device research • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, risk management and change management • Expert understanding of project management software • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays
