📋 Description

• Provide clients with high-quality service through effective direction of account team • Secure new business for the company • Be responsible for overall account and financial performance and growth • Provide strategic consultancy and marketing insight • Manage and build client relationships, offering strategic overview, high quality service and account management • Support resource planning and collaboration with other departments and shared services • Lead new business activities and participate in RFI and RFP creation • Manage and develop line reports by setting goals and continuously offering on-the-job mentoring • Direct assigned account team(s) on strategic account needs and operational requirements • Review and finalize business plans with account managers • Work with editorial team leader to ensure workflow within accounts is optimized • Participate in author/key opinion leader and client-facing calls, meetings, and live events as necessary • Own finance and forecast • Support navigation of all projects to ensure high-quality work is delivered on time and within budget • Review account(s)/projects for client objectives and brand requirements • Identify and develop business opportunities within existing accounts • Develop and present proposals to the client • Utilize Prime Medica information systems to produce market and product reports for business development

🎯 Requirements

• >7 years of relevant experience in Client Services working for a pharmaceutical company, medical education or communications agency or similar • A life sciences degree, ideally combined with a master’s or PhD • Ability to successfully oversee and manage multiple accounts including forecasting and account growth • Excellent interpersonal/relationship development skills working with both colleagues and clients • Ability to mentor and line manage account team members and identify training needs as required • Possessing strategic insight, sound judgement and solid problem-solving skills – able to identify issues and find suitable solutions • Ability to effectively communicate, lead and delegate • Strategic understanding of project / account objectives and contribution to strategic account planning • Excellent organizational skills, time management and attention to detail • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - where multiple projects are in motion - while being mindful of timelines and budget expectations • Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing • Leader mentality and level of accountability • Strong judgement and confident decision-making skills
