๐Ÿ“‹ Description

โ€ข Identify new business opportunities within your existing accounts through regular check-ins, usage reviews and strategic conversations โ€ข Qualify inbound leads and early-stage prospects before progressing them into the sales cycle โ€ข Maintain a healthy pipeline by accurately assessing opportunity value, timing and likelihood to close โ€ข Proactively reach out to target accounts in your territory or segment through personalised outreach across email, phone and social channels โ€ข Nurture warm prospects until they are ready for a detailed commercial conversation โ€ข Experiment with messaging and outreach strategies to improve conversion rates and open new conversations โ€ข Use CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce or Hubspot) and sales engagement tools to manage workflows, track opportunities and ensure accurate forecasting โ€ข Report weekly on sales activity, opportunity progression, account status and upcoming deals โ€ข Partner closely with Senior Sales Executives and the Commercial team to ensure smooth handovers on larger or strategic opportunities โ€ข Work with Marketing to share account-level insights, campaign performance feedback and emerging customer trends โ€ข Act as a brand ambassador for Railsr, representing us professionally across customer interactions, industry conversations and market engagement

๐ŸŽฏ Requirements

โ€ข 1โ€“3 yearsโ€™ experience in a Sales Development, Account Executive, Business Development or customer-facing role (ideally in SaaS, fintech or technology) โ€ข Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to run professional customer conversations โ€ข Comfortable managing a small pipeline, running discovery, and progressing deals end-to-end with guidance โ€ข Experience using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and sales tools (HubSpot, Outreach, SalesLoft, etc.) โ€ข Demonstrated ability to build rapport, understand customer needs and articulate value clearly.
