• Own the day-to-day relationship with assigned customer accounts and act as the principal point of contact for treatment performance, service requirements and continuous-improvement activity • Plan and complete regular on-site and virtual account-service reviews, documenting and following through on agreed actions • Work with plant operators, engineering teams, environmental personnel, procurement stakeholders and site leadership to understand priorities, compliance risks and business needs • Assess industrial wastewater systems, operating data and discharge performance to identify root causes, process constraints and improvement opportunities • Conduct or supervise jar testing, sampling, dose optimisation, chemical trials and treatment-performance reviews • Optimise coagulation, flocculation, clarification and solids-separation programmes • Provide on-site and remote technical support for treatment, dosing and application problems • Train customers on Cesco products, safe chemical handling, correct dosing, monitoring and troubleshooting • Inspect chemical storage, make-down, feed, pumping, control and application equipment; coordinate repairs and specialist support • Establish service plans and performance measures, monitor results and communicate emerging risks • Prepare service reports, trial reports and account recommendations • Protect account retention through dependable service and technically credible advice • Identify opportunities to expand Cesco programmes within existing accounts • Develop account plans combining customer service, retention and sales-growth objectives • Support selected new-business opportunities through discovery, site surveys, water testing, trials, proposals and account transition • Build relationships with plant and facility executives • Promote Cesco and Tidal Vision innovations where they address verified customer needs • Maintain CRM records, account plans, service activity, forecasts, opportunities and gross-margin information • Collaborate with operations, laboratory, technical, equipment and commercial colleagues • Travel regularly throughout the assigned UK territory, normally around 50% of working time, potentially more during trials and start-ups
• 10+ years of experience in industrial wastewater treatment, with substantial hands-on responsibility for customer applications, process diagnosis and treatment optimisation • Practical technical knowledge of wastewater-treatment plants, preferably involving high-organics effluent from food and beverage processing or a related industrial sector • Demonstrable experience managing customer accounts or providing ongoing field technical service in water treatment, process chemicals or a related industry • Experience with coagulation, flocculation, clarification and solids separation, including DAF or comparable primary-treatment processes • Experience conducting or supervising jar tests, chemical trials, sampling, dose optimisation and treatment-performance reviews • Experience with chemical storage, dosing pumps, controls and application equipment, including first-line troubleshooting • Ability to interpret operational and laboratory data and produce clear, practical written recommendations • Record of building strong customer relationships, maintaining account satisfaction and identifying account-growth opportunities • Working knowledge of UK trade-effluent consents, discharge compliance, COSHH requirements and safe chemical-handling practices, or ability to develop this knowledge rapidly • Full UK driving licence • Right to work in the UK • Willingness to travel regularly, including overnight stays • Preferred: 5–10 years of experience in industrial water-treatment chemicals, wastewater applications or technical account management • Preferred: direct experience with high-COD industrial wastewater accounts • Preferred: experience with chitosan, biopolymers, metal-salt coagulants, organic coagulants, polymers or related treatment chemistries • Preferred: record of retaining and growing technically complex customer accounts • Preferred: experience introducing new chemistry or treatment approaches through structured trials • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, HNC, HND or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field • Preferred: competence in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint and experience using CRM systems • Valid UK driving licence required by the time of appointment • Satisfactory references and verification of right to work in the UK required • Employment may be subject to relevant background, qualification and driving-record checks • Ability to work in operational industrial environments, walk around treatment plants, use stairs and access platforms, and wear appropriate PPE
