📋 Description

• Provide specialist advice and solutions on employee relations matters to managers across regional sites • Advise on complex disciplinary cases, grievances, investigations, TUPE transfers, restructures and capability management • Coach and upskill line managers to ensure processes are procedurally and legally compliant and minimise organisational risk • Support the Treatment West business, including Shropshire and Telford and Merseyside and Halton business units • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with local union representatives • Support managers through pay negotiations and help resolve trade disputes • Coach and develop line managers into skilled people leaders • Take strategic ownership of absence management and work to reduce absence levels • Lead TUPE transfers, mergers and acquisitions, and transformational projects • Manage seamless transitions, engage stakeholders and guide the organisation through change

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in an employee relations role within a unionised environment • Experience advising on complex employee relations casework and litigation, including managing Employment Tribunal claims • Ability to apply relevant legal principles and conduct risk assessments • Strong communication and influencing skills • Ability to interact across all levels of management and operational teams • Strong attention to detail • Strong problem-solving ability • Ability to deliver results to demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment
