📋 Description

• Teach students CDL knowledge through virtual classroom instruction focused on permit preparation and driving theory • Provide step-by-step guidance on CDL topics, including safety regulations and FMCSA-based requirements • Ensure students are prepared for CDL permit testing standards • Promote safety and professionalism in all instruction • Track student attendance and participation, providing support when needed • Maintain attendance and progress records • Provide clear communication and support to help students understand course material

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside in the state you are applying for or have a residence secured for relocation • Valid CDL Class A license • Minimum of 24 months of verified tractor-trailer driving experience • Safe driving record • Ability to pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening • Strong computer skills, including experience using Salesforce, Zoom, Canvas, and Microsoft Outlook • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage a virtual classroom • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple students in an online environment • Experience in teaching, mentoring, or training drivers preferred but not required • Driver Training Instructor certification preferred if required by the state; certification assistance available • Experience with virtual instruction or online learning platforms preferred • Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and CDL permit requirements preferred
