📋 Description

• Set the technical vision, roadmap, and long-term architecture for 1Password’s demo platform • Lead design of shared demo infrastructure, including templates, automated provisioning and resets, data generation, and observability • Build sample applications and integrations across 1Password products for demos and enablement programs • Support complex, high-visibility demos for flagship launches, keynotes, conferences, and strategic customer opportunities • Drive AI-assisted tooling that automates demo preparation, validation, and maintenance • Partner with Engineering Security on demo environments and lead architecture and code reviews • Mentor Demo Engineers and Senior Demo Engineers • Represent Demo Engineering in cross-functional technical decisions and product roadmap discussions • Travel quarterly, including cross-border travel, for conferences and company offsites

🎯 Requirements

• Substantial experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, platform engineering, technical marketing, DevOps, solutions architecture, or demo engineering • Experience in cybersecurity, identity, Privileged Access Management (PAM), developer tools, or a related technical domain • Full-stack and automation development using TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, React, or Python • Experience designing systems that other engineers can build on • Infrastructure design and operation using infrastructure as code, CI/CD, containers, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP • Understanding of identity and access management concepts, including SSO, SAML, OIDC, SCIM, device trust, passwordless authentication, and passkeys • Ability to balance speed, reliability, cost, and security and explain technical tradeoffs clearly • Experience creating interactive SaaS demos and guided product experiences using Reprise, Navattic, Walnut, or Arcade • Experience with MDM tools such as Jamf, live event demos, utilization analysis, AI-assisted tooling, or MCP servers is valuable • Must already be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada; no work authorization, relocation assistance, or sponsorship/transferring of a visa provided • Successful applicants must complete a background check
