📋 Description

• Perform advanced business analysis for complex, emerging technology hardware and software projects • Support the Mainframe Reports and Extract effort at the Railroad Commission of Texas • Gather, develop, and document requirements using multiple methods • Review, assess, and develop business processes • Create and validate user acceptance testing • Provide research and special project support to users • Analyze and document multiple interrelated report-related projects • Perform data analysis and root cause analysis of data errors • Document data flows • Develop reports • Publish data to the DIR Open Data Portal or RRC website • Ensure deliverables and materials comply with established processes, procedures, quality standards, and accepted business analysis methodologies • May assign or supervise the work of others

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced (senior-level) business analysis experience • Knowledge and background in Power BI, Snowflake, and data publishing • Experience with data analysis and root cause analysis of data errors • Experience with data flow documentation and report development • Knowledge of business analysis methodologies • Ability to work under limited to minimal direction with initiative and independent judgment
