📋 Description

• Advise on workplace policies, performance management, investigations, leave and accommodation questions, wage-and-hour issues, employee relations, and separations across jurisdictions • Coordinate with local counsel where appropriate • Draft, review, and negotiate employment documents, offer letters, separation and settlement agreements, employment-related memos, and local-counsel engagement agreements • Respond to employment-related subpoenas and personnel file requests • Design and operate processes for regulatory monitoring, training, policy review, audits, investigations, and compliance reporting • Support subsidiary maintenance, director and officer matters, board and committee materials, corporate records, and other governance work • Support commercial, privacy, product, IP, litigation, and other legal matters as priorities evolve • Apply AI tools to legal research, drafting, issue spotting, analysis, and knowledge management while validating outputs and protecting confidential information • Identify matters requiring specialist colleagues, second legal review, or outside counsel • Partner with People, Finance, Sales, Product, Security, and other stakeholders as a trusted advisor • Create scalable playbooks, templates, guidance, and processes

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school • Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction • 4-5 years of relevant legal experience in-house, in private practice, or a combination • At least 2 years of meaningful employment law experience • Experience supporting employment compliance, policies, training, investigations, audits, or related operational processes • Comfort working outside a narrow specialty and developing practical knowledge of unfamiliar legal issues • Hands-on experience using AI tools for legal research, drafting, or analysis, including verification, confidentiality, and responsible reliance on AI-assisted output • Experience supporting a global workforce or coordinating multi-jurisdictional employment matters, including work involving the UK or India • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Sound judgment about risk, ownership, and escalation • Builder’s mindset, strong follow-through, and comfort with evolving priorities
