📋 Description

• Own the mobile product strategy across 8am's brands, deciding what to fix, rebuild, consolidate, or retire in existing apps • Spend at least four hours a week with customers through interviews, on-site visits, call reviews, and NPS and support data • Define the mobile jobs for solo and small firms, including payments, case and client management, time and document capture, and acting on 8am IQ insights • Build the business case and success metrics for mobile tied to retention, payments volume, and product activation • Prototype ideas with AI tools such as Claude and test them with customers before engineering builds • Lead a two-engineer squad working in small scopes, fast cycles, and frequent releases • Partner with the AI Platform team to bring 8am IQ agents and tools to mobile with required permissions and audit trails • Partner with the Payments team on mobile payment experiences such as tap to pay • Own app quality and release health, including App Store and Google Play releases, ratings, reviews, crash and performance metrics, and mobile analytics • Work with Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to launch, message, and drive adoption • Align with MyCase, CasePeer, LawPay, and Docketwise product teams • Share strategy and progress with leadership and the wider company, ideally through live demos

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, including at least 3 years owning a native iOS/Android or cross-platform mobile app in market • Track record of taking a product from 0 to 1, or turning around an underinvested one, with measurable results • Hands-on prototyping using AI coding tools, design tools, or code • Strong product design sense and comfort doing much of your own UX work • Deep customer discovery skills, including weekly customer conversations and translating qualitative and quantitative signals into decisions • Experience shipping AI-powered features, with practical knowledge of LLMs, agents, and evals • Fluency with mobile metrics and tooling, including product analytics, crash reporting, App Store and Google Play release management, and experimentation • Comfort owning scope end to end on a very small team, with a bias for shipping • Based in the U.S. and able to work with customers during U.S. business hours • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve workflows, enhance decision-making, or drive innovation • Preferred: mobile payments experience, such as tap to pay, card-present payments, or digital wallets • Preferred: experience in legal tech, accounting, fintech, or other regulated, high-trust professional services • Preferred: background in product design or front-end engineering • Preferred: experience building agentic or conversational AI experiences on mobile • Preferred: experience serving small businesses and solo professionals, including product-led growth
