• Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value and capabilities of 8x8's products. • Provide industry, technical, and product knowledge to 8x8 partners and customers. • Develop and maintain an expert understanding of all 8x8 applications and products. • Assist in developing technical proposals and RFP responses to meet customer requirements. • Lead targeted discovery conversations to understand customer pain points, current state, and desired outcomes. • Use AI tools as part of daily workflow to deliver more, faster, and at higher quality. • Document actions and follow-ups per Sales Engineering best practices. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and the evolving AI tooling ecosystem.
• 3+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or in a technical pre-sales role. • Direct CCaaS / CPaaS / CX industry experience is preferred but not required. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • Demonstrable use of AI tools in current role. • Familiarity with AI-enhanced sales tools is a plus. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent presentation skills. • Action-oriented with strong personal initiative and learning velocity. • Willingness to travel up to 10% within the region.
