📋 Description

• Work directly with stakeholders to define, document, and drive business requirements for technology and process changes • Own business requirements analysis and definition/documentation • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and manage requirements through the product lifecycle • Maintain standardized business analysis practices and monitor execution against project goals and stakeholder needs • Gather and document requirements and communicate schedules and timelines to project/program managers • Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to elicit business and data requirements • Document business requirements using customer journeys, business context diagrams, process flows, use case models, conceptual data models, and SMART requirements • Translate business requirements into functional design specifications • Identify key data inputs and required flows across multiple systems • Create current- and future-state system process journey maps • Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, including validation, prioritization, approval, traceability, change management, and impact/risk assessment • Partner with data experts to validate proposal feasibility • Facilitate requirements reviews and obtain approvals • Prepare business validation (UAT) plans • Plan, manage, and potentially complete testing of application, system, and process changes/upgrades • Write test plans and develop test cases with expected results • Schedule testing with IT testing leads • Partner with the data group to execute testing of data components • Support business users during business validation • Review test results and support issue resolution • Collaborate with business and IT partners, including end users, developers, testers, and analysts

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years business systems analysis experience • Bachelor's degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience, or BSA Certification • Knowledge of insurance business, including Personal Lines, Commercial Auto and Claims, and Operations • Proficient knowledge and experience using diagramming techniques/tools such as UML, Visio, Lucidchart, draw.io, iGrafx, and Miro • Guidewire and pricing tools experience • Knowledge of structured testing methodology, project lifecycle methodologies, SDLC, and project management practices • Detailed technical knowledge of interrelated insurance systems and pricing algorithms • Understanding of software development approaches and requirements development • User-level knowledge of systems utilized by the division/team • Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies • Ability to understand data relationships among systems • Ability to run queries across platforms and provide analytics on results • Strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to communicate basic training expectations for testing • Demonstrated learning agility • Guidewire Certified Analyst preferred • 2–3 years insurance industry experience preferred • Experience supporting large transformations, enhancements, vendor system implementations, or reporting and conversion projects preferred • Ability to travel as needed for divisional/team meetings and other in-person meetings • Must have authorization to work indefinitely in the United States • CSAA does not provide visa sponsorship
