📋 Description

• Resolve all aspects of 1st and 3rd party injury claims of low to moderate complexity for personal lines and commercial claims • Manage claims efficiently and effectively to appropriate resolution with minimal supervision • Handle liability injury claims, including coverage, liability and damage concerns • Handle Medical Payment, PIP, Uninsured Motorists, Under-insured Motorists and ADB claims • Assist with first notice of loss calls and participate in the department phone queue as needed • Make coverage determinations and conduct complex investigative work • Advise customers on appropriate action related to coverage issues • Make liability determinations based on gathered evidence • Evaluate potential subrogation and initiate notices of subrogation • Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims with insureds, claimants or injured-party representatives • Communicate pertinent case facts to supervisors, managers or committees when appropriate • Participate in employee resource groups and volunteering • Travel as needed for divisional, team and other in-person meetings • Support business needs, including investing extra time and helping other teams

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of claims experience • Minimum 3+ years of casualty adjuster experience • High school diploma/GED or minimum 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry • Must hold an Adjuster's license for all applicable states or obtain licenses within 90 days of filling the position as a condition of employment • Ability to resolve low to moderate complexity 1st and 3rd party injury claims • Knowledge of liability, coverage and damage concerns • Experience with Medical Payment, PIP, Uninsured Motorists, Under-insured Motorists and ADB claims • Ability to make coverage and liability determinations based on evidence • Ability to conduct complex investigative work • Ability to develop claims negotiation strategies • Commercial claims handling experience would be an advantage • BA/BS in business, insurance or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience would be an advantage • Bilingual Spanish would be a plus • Must be authorized to work indefinitely in the United States • Mobilitas does not provide visa sponsorship; applicants must not require immigration support now or in the future • Ability to travel as needed for divisional, team and other in-person meetings
