📋 Description

• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Engineering, and Service teams to address escalated issues • Respond to escalated issues in a timely fashion • Respond to and action alerts from SOC escalations and security tooling • Maintain the health and security of the platform • Lead incident coordination between internal and external entities in alignment with regulatory requirements • Communicate effectively with management, peers, and clients • Maintain awareness of security and control issues in emerging technologies • Scope, implement, and support new security projects and initiatives • Own and follow up on pending issues through resolution • Mentor junior team members

🎯 Requirements

• Familiarity with industry standard tools and applications such as Palo Alto, Cisco Meraki, SonicWall, Fortigate, SentinelOne, ThreatLocker, MS Defender, G-Suite, Content Filtering, and Protective DNS • Heavy experience with the Incident Response lifecycle • Familiarity with Microsoft Office365 and Azure technologies • Familiarity with Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops technologies • Familiarity with open-source intelligence gathering • Scripting ability and experience working with API endpoints such as MS Graph • Ability to navigate and utilize a ticketing system such as ConnectWise or ServiceNow • Experience with change management and security remediation processes • Experience with security documentation, technical and policy writing • Ability to deliver technical/security information or concepts in a user-friendly format • Ability to work independently and in team project work • Ability to work under pressure and with short deadlines • Occasional on-call nights, weekends, and emergency on-call availability required • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a systems engineering or technical security role • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or similar focus • Microsoft Certified (MCSE) or equivalent certification is a plus • Security certificate such as CompTIA CySA, Security+, Network+, or ISC2 CCSP/SSCP
