📋 Description

• Provide guidance and assistance to the work group to meet assigned objectives • Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on electrical distribution equipment • Execute projects involving startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, engineering, design, and repair of Power Delivery equipment • Work with transformers, switchgear, OCBs, circuit breakers, busways, UPS, ATS, PLCs, relays, and power management control systems • Lead outages with field engineers, technicians, contractors, project managers, and site engineers • Perform project management and lead site engineering activities • Write technical reports, order materials, secure quotations, and prepare job status reports, customer reports, timesheets, and expense sheets • Plan, prepare, and/or instruct internal and external training programs • Impart and perpetuate field engineering and product knowledge in the area of specialization

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma and 8 years of related engineering / field experience • Additional formal education may substitute for required experience on a year-for-year basis • Ability and willingness to travel up to an estimated 75% of the time • Experience in the repair and refurbishment of LV and MV circuit breakers is preferred • Technical skills in testing, commissioning, startup and troubleshooting of medium voltage synchronous machines are preferred • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
