📋 Description

• Execute service work according to work instructions and ABB quality and safety guidelines • Deliver quality customer service and execute work according to customer orders and expectations • Work on-site with customers to identify operational improvement opportunities and eliminate pain points • Identify technical issues and conduct certified on-site troubleshooting • Prepare material lists and ensure materials, parts, and equipment meet quality standards and are available • Execute installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, extensions, upgrades, retrofits, end-of-life services, and replacements • Build and maintain positive customer relationships • Identify potential new sales opportunities and communicate them internally • Detect potential equipment failures and recommend corrective actions • Identify and suggest product and quality improvements • Recommend operational and customer-service improvements to management • Follow safety protocols and maintain safe work and environmental practices • Report unsafe practices and incidents promptly

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology with 1+ years’ experience servicing critical power equipment, OR Associate’s Degree in electrical technology with 3+ years’ experience, OR High School Diploma/GED and equivalent work and/or military experience with 5+ years’ experience servicing critical power equipment • Advanced ability to interact and communicate written and verbal information at varying organizational levels • Advanced ability to use Microsoft Office products • Moderate ability to project manage using MS Project or Excel • Advanced ability to write test plans and reports detailing test results • Advanced ability to stay organized and meet administrative deadlines • Ability to collaborate well with others • Sense of urgency and ownership until the job is complete • Must already have work authorization permitting employment with ABB in the US
