• Manage complex and strategic programs/projects (>500M) • Develop and implement execution strategies aligned with organizational objectives and business project performance • Maintain focus on quality and customer satisfaction • Lead major projects and project teams to achieve goals on time and on budget while maintaining high safety and integrity standards • Drive major project execution to success • Support sales and business management in de-risking future incoming business • Develop major project execution strategy and deploy tactical actions for successful execution of critical business projects • Ensure HSE standards are fulfilled during day-to-day tasks and serve as an HSE role model • Structure project strategic approach across project key stages and deploy tactics to meet business needs and customer expectations • Create and implement project work plans responding to changing customer needs and requirements • Lead internal project management teams and partner with sales on strategic/Mega projects to identify, manage, and control project risks • Build and deploy an effective program communications plan for internal and customer needs • Collaborate with the contract manager to understand contractual requirements and resolve contractual and commercial risks • Manage communication with internal and customer stakeholders and executives • Deploy project risk and change management plans and drive risk mitigation actions • Travel 20–30%
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Electrical Distribution business • Minimum of 5 years in management role or equivalent • Proven Project Management skills, including creative issue resolution and change management • Proven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a matrix team / organization • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Proficiency in English • Knowledge of Engineering, Procurement and Construction and their processes • High level of strategical acumen • People management experience • Highly Analytical / Clear Thinker • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and sense of urgency • Ability to interface and build strong relationships with customers and management at various levels • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
