📋 Description

• Act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity • Complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects cost-effectively • Apply basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects • Collect data from ABB and competitive systems for baseline performance and future performance guarantee development • Provide process control expertise during QCS order pursuit • Act as technical liaison between ABB sales and customer process control and engineering teams • Develop Systems Engineering Plan for projects when assigned the lead role • Manage Systems Engineering team for site coverage when assigned the lead role • Prepare system software for internal integration testing • Support system integration testing during internal One-hundred Percent Test • Support Customer Factory Acceptance Test when included • Develop general and project-specific operator training materials • Develop operator training schedule as part of the Systems Engineering Plan • Deliver classroom and hands-on operator training • Ensure all control features are tuned and optimized • Collect data and review results against performance objectives • Provide technical leadership during project start-up, optimization, and results stages • Ensure proper implementation and function of customer-requested specials • Resolve outstanding system issues after commissioning • Provide continued customer support after commissioning

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Engineering or Paper Science degree preferred • 2+ years of experience required • Industrial experience helpful but not required • Fluent in written and verbal English • Spanish a plus • Strong leadership and communications skills • Up to 60% travel • Geographic location is flexible
