📋 Description

• Provide field support for clinical research enrollment and procedures in the electrophysiology therapy area • Serve as a technology, protocol, and clinical trial procedure expert for Abbott stakeholders, physicians, and research personnel • Develop and maintain knowledge of clinical sites in the assigned territory • Nominate, approach, and qualify clinical trial sites and establish study execution expectations • Facilitate contract and budget escalations during study start-up • Train facility staff on protocol requirements and technology • Develop site-specific strategies to promote appropriate patient enrollment • Identify site successes and challenges and implement troubleshooting techniques to achieve study goals • Provide support for protocol, standard-of-care, and clinical trial reimbursement matters • Report and troubleshoot product issues with customers and field personnel • Share best practices and develop capabilities to optimize trial data quality • Collaborate with Clinical Scientists, study teams, Clinical Site Leads, and cross-functional partners • Communicate best practices and provide feedback on study design, procedures, and product experiences • Support product education, training materials, presentations, product launches, and field education • Serve as a scientific interface with healthcare professionals • Provide product feedback and competitive information to product planning and marketing teams • Facilitate sustained performance of study sites with minimal oversight • Identify issues, create corrective plans, and prevent recurrence of site variances • Support sites in taking on more complex or higher-volume trials • Communicate study and site updates to management and study teams • Serve as a regional clinical and technical resource, study champion, mentor, and contributor to national initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, biological sciences, a related field, equivalent or related certification in Electrophysiology/Cardiology • 3 or more years of progressively more responsible relevant clinical work experience in the Electrophysiology field • Experience using MS Office Suite • High level of competency in EP Lab procedures • Recognized as a leader and expert beyond local territory • Advanced verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization • Exceptional presentation and influence skills • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a timely manner • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with attention to detail • Ability to travel up to 75% during active trial enrollment periods • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. • EP clinical background and field-based experience preferred
