📋 Description

• Develop and deliver foundational product and therapy knowledge programs for global sales teams • Provide clinical and product education to support global launch readiness • Partner with regional training leads to ensure consistent execution of internal education • Create non-promotional, clinically focused education programs for physicians and allied professionals • Collaborate with regional training leads for localized delivery • Build and maintain relationships with global KOLs for peer-to-peer education, advisory boards, and proctoring programs • Define standardized global curricula aligned with product IFUs, regulatory requirements, and clinical best practices • Lead development of on-demand learning solutions, virtual simulations, train-the-trainer programs, and modular e-learning • Establish governance and SOPs for global training and education programs • Monitor program effectiveness using competency assessments, adoption metrics, and compliance audits • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and LBE cycle explanations • Develop talent, strengthen organizational capabilities, and build succession plans • Anticipate capability trends and prepare Abbott-wide talent pipelines • Optimize performance measures, developmental activities, and people resources • Collaborate with Abbott leadership and Medical Affairs, Marketing, Clinical Affairs, R&D, Regulatory, Legal, and Quality functions • Report directly to the Structural Heart Global Head of Professional Relations and Education

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • Strong clinical background • 8-10+ years in medical education, clinical training, or related roles within MedTech or healthcare • Proven experience designing global training programs and engaging KOLs • Deep understanding of cardiovascular therapies and interventional procedures • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills • Travel both in United States and internationally (30–40%) • Preferred: Advanced degree • Preferred: Cath Lab and/or Interventional Cardiology experience
