• Direct CRM sales management for Abbott products and services in the assigned region • Identify and evaluate market opportunities and sales potential • Establish and achieve sales and clinical objectives • Lead and coach territory managers and clinical specialists • Complete authorization training to support CRM procedures and provide clinical coaching • Support and achieve the regional sales plan • Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop direct reports for sales and clinical performance • Set quarterly goals, development plans, and annual performance reviews • Drive customer and account engagement planning • Prepare regional sales forecasts and CRM sales expense estimates • Drive sales accountability through accurate forecasting • Travel with the team to visit customers and support clinical competencies and sales advancement • Build cross-functional partnerships with marketing, training, enterprise accounts, and clinical trial teams • Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures • Assist with case support, proctor planning, and conflict resolution • Oversee annual regional budget and approve direct-report expense reports • Complete vendor credentialing for hospital access as required • Maintain knowledge of products, markets, regulatory requirements, and industry trends • Resolve complex problems and develop original solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent • 8+ years of progressively more responsible work experience in Tachycardia/Bradycardia product areas or a related discipline • Direct experience in CRM product sales preferred • Proven and documented sales and clinical performance in the cardiology/cardiovascular field • Ability to lead workstreams and initiatives utilizing critical thinking skill sets • Ability to provide direction and monitor progress of direct reports’ clinical and sales objectives, quality, outcomes, and sales performance measures • Ability to perform in a quality system environment • Solutions-oriented, fact-based problem-solving approach • Verification of satisfaction of vendor credentialing requirements, which may include COVID-19 vaccination • Master’s degree preferred • Prior commercial and clinical trial experience in cardiology/cardiovascular preferred • Documented successful leadership experience of sales and clinical teams preferred • Strong consideration for candidates with Abbott cardiovascular experience
