📋 Description

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on order-to-cash handling tasks • Support internal department team members on processes and source documents • Perform Revenue Cycle processes, handle EMR queues, and troubleshoot patient claims, charges, and appeals • Support workflow management and team resource allocation with leadership • Attend and co-facilitate meetings with internal departments • Use Microsoft Office and EMR reporting tools to support team initiatives and leadership requests • Participate in cross-department project initiatives • Perform duties and document information according to SOPs and workflows • Support work queue turnaround-time requirements • Contribute to process improvement activities • Uphold company mission and values and comply with Quality Management System policies and procedures • Maintain regular and reliable attendance, work the designated schedule, and work overtime as needed • Work on mobile devices, tablets, or computer screens and perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) • 2+ years of experience in a contact center, data entry, or customer service environment • 2+ years of experience in multiple computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Epic, and Onbase • 1+ years of experience working in a medical data entry environment utilizing EMR systems • Proven ability to solve complex problems related to overall workflow processes • Working knowledge of HIPAA Laws • Working knowledge of medical terminology, medical billing, and insurance terms • Working knowledge of laboratory terminology • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, with ability to navigate multiple systems within order workflow and manipulate files into PDF • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties with or without accommodation • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship • Ability to successfully complete all Epic trainings for TOQ and PFS work queues • Experience with project-based work preferred • Peer mentorship experience preferred • Experience supporting multiple work streams concurrently preferred • Process documentation experience with Microsoft Visio or similar programs preferred
