• Promote the product to meet or exceed sales goals in community/private practices, hospitals, and health systems • Develop and maintain relationships with neurology, pain medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, primary care, pharmacy, urology, urogynecology, obstetrics and gynecology, female pelvic medicine, ambulatory surgical centers, and reconstructive surgery accounts/departments • Comply with company policies, required reports, requests, and promotional compliance requirements • Manage AbbVie field assets • Identify customer needs related to training, clinical, operational, and reimbursement matters • Address customer needs with appropriate AbbVie resources • Deliver anatomical and procedural information and training • Train customers on injection paradigms, postures, anatomical insights, and considerations • Provide education and clinical/injection training for residents, fellows, and hospital personnel • Collaborate with other Account Specialists to promote the product for approved indications • Execute resident/fellow trainings within hospital and health system accounts • Utilize AbbVie sales and data resources to enhance productivity and product growth • Implement the U.S. Marketing Plan • Travel adequately to cover the assigned territory and attend scheduled overnight training events and sales meetings
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience required • Relevant equivalent industry experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree requires at least five (5) years of technical experience • Three (3) or more years of sales experience preferred • High school diploma/GED required • Ability to manage a complex sell • Ability to quickly learn procedural, technical, clinical, and anatomical information • Ability to communicate, present, and train to a variety of audiences • Ability to lift/pull 25–100 lb. training models • Ability to meet necessary hospital credentialing and vaccination requirements • Ability to travel adequately to cover the territory • Ability to attend scheduled overnight training events and sales meetings • Documented history of strong sales performance preferred, preferably in clinical, technical, or consultative sales with multiple decision makers • Must satisfy all applicable HCIR credentialing requirements for assigned facilities and organizations • Must be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain HCIR credentials • HCIR requirements may include background checks, drug screens, proof of immunization/vaccination, fingerprinting, and specific state or city licenses
