• Promote a product to meet or exceed sales goals in community/private practices, hospitals, and health systems • Develop and maintain relationships with neurology, pain medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, primary care, pharmacy, and relevant urology-related accounts and departments • Comply with company policies, required reports, requests, and promotional compliance requirements • Manage AbbVie field assets effectively • Identify customer needs related to training, clinical, operational, and reimbursement matters • Address customer needs using appropriate AbbVie resources • Deliver anatomical and procedural information and training • Train customers on injection paradigms, postures, anatomical terminology, insights, and considerations • Provide education and clinical/injection training for residents, fellows, and hospital personnel • Collaborate with other Account Specialists to promote products for approved indications • Execute resident/fellow trainings within hospital and health system accounts • Utilize AbbVie sales and data resources to enhance productivity and product growth • Implement the U.S. Marketing Plan
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience required • Relevant and equivalent industry experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree: at least five years of technical experience, with three or more years within sales preferred • High school diploma/GED required • Ability to manage complex sales and learn procedural, technical, clinical, and anatomical information quickly • Ability to communicate, present, and train varied audiences • Experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy products preferred, in health systems and private practice • Ability to lift/pull 25–100 lb. training models • Ability to meet hospital credentialing/vaccination requirements • Valid driver’s license • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements • Ability to travel adequately to cover territory, including overnight training events and sales meetings • Documented history of strong sales performance preferred, preferably in clinical/technical/consultative sales with multiple decision makers • Must satisfy applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain credentials
