📋 Description

• Set the strategic direction for the HCV Thought Leader Liaison function to drive MAVYRET business results • Drive perceptual differentiation for AbbVie and MAVYRET • Identify and optimize HCV elimination partnerships and unlock market growth opportunities • Lead regional Thought Leader Liaisons who execute the strategy in the field • Analyze HCV market drivers, competitive landscape, and provider dynamics and reflect insights in brand strategy • Set TLL strategy and collaborate on HCP and consumer marketing strategy, resource optimization, and tactic development • Partner with senior leaders to identify national marketing opportunities and projects • Bridge communication and business gaps between sales and marketing • Set KOL strategy and lead in-field execution, including identifying future leaders • Plan externally facing KOL activities, including sponsorships, conventions, and advisory boards • Lead regional TLLs in developing and executing customized marketing plans • Coordinate external vendors and internal departments including agency partners, marketing, market research, legal, regulatory, medical affairs, corporate compliance, consumer marketing, and BTS • Manage the TLL promotional budget • Establish account-based execution plans within alternative, low-barrier treatment models • Oversee and evolve the HCV elimination program • Maintain contractual obligations for specific Medicaid-exclusive states and partner with external state partners • Create market-growth strategy, oversee execution, and track business results

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree • 8+ years of relevant sales, sales management, or marketing experience • At least 2 years of experience with Hepatology, Virology, or Addiction Medicine • 3+ years of HCP-related activities, including strategic planning and tactical plan creation and execution • Agency/vendor management experience • Project management, communication, analytical, and strategic thinking capabilities • Collaboration and team-oriented experience accomplishing results through and influencing others • Ability to learn quickly, deal with ambiguity or limited data, and make quality decisions • Ability to work independently and in a team setting • Ability to understand medical/clinical aspects of pharmaceutical products and apply them to marketing strategy and tactical execution • Experience analyzing quantitative and qualitative market research and data to derive insights • Strong written and interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally • Must satisfy applicable health care industry representative credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain credentials • Ability to drive a personal auto, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment • Valid driver’s license • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe-driving requirements • Up to 50% domestic travel required • Preferred: deep knowledge of the current HCV market • Preferred: Addiction Medicine market knowledge • Preferred: sales or sales management experience • Patient advocacy experience preferred
