📋 Description

• This role is field-based and candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city. • The Immunology Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) functions as a specialized in-office resource for healthcare providers (HCPs) within a designated geographic territory. • The FRM engages directly with HCP offices to address patient access and reimbursement inquiries related to AbbVie’s immunology portfolio. • This role delivers expertise regarding coverage, reimbursement challenges, and the utilization of AbbVie’s support tools, while also educating on patient prescription status, program eligibility, and payer processes. • Educate HCPs including bio coordinators and/or office staff on AbbVie patient support programs, including access and reimbursement tools and services. • Educate on product acquisition options such as specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution, and white, brown, and clear bagging. • Educate resources and strategies to address patient access issues. • Offer localized expertise on national and regional payer policies, utilization management criteria, including updates on medical billing and coding and medical benefit claims submission methodology. • Collaborate with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement Support Center to relay prescription status and program eligibility updates. • Report back payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and Market Access account teams. • Establish and maintain professional relationships with providers within the assigned territory. • Maintain current knowledge on managed care, reimbursement, and policy trends.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in immunology, or access and reimbursement with expertise in market access and payer account management. • Demonstrate expertise in drug acquisition and dispensing in specialty biologics, immunology a plus (Buy and Bill, reimbursement analysis, Specialty Pharmacies, Specialty Distributors). • Exceptional territory and strategic account management abilities including process mastery, customer engagement, strategic mindset, collaboration, and market dynamics. • Proven leadership record within current role. • Functional knowledge of access and reimbursement support service centers. • Excellent communication (oral, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills. • Strong understanding and ability to communicate technical elements of coding and billing requirements at the National and Regional level across all settings of care including Medicare Parts A, B, C and D or Medicare and associated reimbursement dynamic. • Demonstrated understanding of the rules, regulations and risks associated with provision of reimbursement support services. • Demonstrate the ability to quickly build relationships and collaboration with internal/external key stakeholders and lead without authority. • Bachelor’s degree is required. • Valid driver’s license: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements.
