📋 Description

• Design commercial electrical power distribution systems, including service entrance, panelboards, feeders, branch circuiting, and equipment connections • Develop interior and exterior lighting layouts and perform photometric calculations • Prepare construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit, including plans, details, schedules, and one-line diagrams • Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements • Ensure compliance with International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) requirements, including lighting power density, controls, and documentation • Coordinate electrical design with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural disciplines • Support construction administration, including RFI responses and submittal reviews • Assist with permit review comment responses and code compliance documentation • Communicate with project managers, clients, and contractors throughout the design process

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of commercial electrical design experience • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) • Working knowledge of the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) • Demonstrated experience with power distribution design (service, feeders, panels, branch circuits) • Demonstrated experience with lighting layout and photometric calculations • Proficiency in AutoCAD • Proficiency in Revit (electrical design/MEP workflows) • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience) • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple project deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Experience with photometric software (e.g., AGi32, Visual, or similar) preferred • Familiarity with utility coordination and service planning preferred • Experience across multiple commercial building types preferred • Exposure to fire alarm system design or life safety code coordination preferred • Successful candidates must complete employment verification and background checks after accepting an offer • Verification of job titles and employment dates with two previous employers
