📋 Description

• The primary function of the Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) is to plan, develop, and monitor a variety of behavioral support service delivery options made to meet the needs of clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). • Consults speech, occupational therapy, and physical therapy departments. • Consult with and teach an instructional team regarding pro-active, educational programming, and behavioral supports. • Conduct intakes and develop behavior and skill acquisition plans for each client. • Monitor programming, update programs based on client progress and ensure Parent Training sessions are scheduled. • Responsible for maintaining certification and abiding by ethical standards of the BACB. • Participate in education and training programs for patients, families, or community groups. • Work as part of an interdisciplinary team with ancillary providers.

🎯 Requirements

• Must be currently certified as a BCBA with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. • Individuals who have recently completed their Master's Degree and are waiting to take the BACB exam will be considered on an individual basis. • Maintain good standing with the BACB. • Maintain CEU requirements required by the BACB and complete annual recertification requirements in a timely manner to ensure there is no lapse in certification. • Training and clinical experience in providing applied behavior analysis to children and families. • Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders preferred. • Analytical skills necessary in order to synthesize a variety of clinical and social data to determine appropriate diagnosis, treatment plan and monitor effectiveness of treatment programs. • CentralReach experience is preferred but not required.
