• Deliver pre-prescription disease state education to patients and caregivers through small group meetings and presentations. • Provide information about product efficacy, safety, and ACADIA Connect access support. • Offer approved educational resources and distribute materials about Parkinson’s Disease Psychosis and NUPLAZID®. • Build trusting relationships with patients and caregivers. • Collaborate with Patient Access Managers on coverage, reimbursement, and affordability questions. • Facilitate referrals and transitions into ACADIA Connect. • Partner with Neurology Sales Specialists and Long-Term Care Sales Specialists. • Respond to inquiries from patients, caregivers, customers, community organizations, and advocacy events. • Collaborate with community-based, advocacy, and professional organizations on education programs. • Provide feedback to marketing to improve patient engagement and educational initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, social work, psychology, or a related healthcare field; advanced degree preferred. • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in pharma; patient education, patient navigation, advocacy, or pharmaceutical patient support services preferred. • Knowledge of neurology, psychiatry, or movement disorders preferred; Parkinson’s Disease or PDP experience strongly desired. • Ability to build empathetic and supportive relationships with patients and caregivers. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills. • Experience collaborating across marketing, patient support services, advocacy, and field-based teams. • Familiarity with compliance standards for patient-facing pharmaceutical roles. • Ability to meet travel requirements, including driving, overnight stays, and air travel as needed. • Ability to safeguard patient health information and follow privacy and compliance standards. • Must reside within the territory or within 30 miles of its border. • Must be within reasonable proximity to a major airport depending on territory needs. • Eligibility to drive a company vehicle. • Ability to travel independently by air. • Travel may be up to 75% of the time, including occasional after-hours work. • Ability to perform regular standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and equipment handling. • Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds occasionally.
