📋 Description

• Define the long-term architectural vision, strategy, and roadmap for Hardware Asset Management within ServiceNow • Lead design of scalable and secure HAM solutions covering the full hardware asset lifecycle • Translate business requirements from Finance, Procurement, Operations, and IT into architectural designs and technical specifications • Serve as subject matter expert and lead architect for the ServiceNow HAM module • Architect the ServiceNow CMDB for hardware assets, including data integrity, relationships, normalization, reconciliation, and discovery strategies • Design and implement automated HAM workflows using Service Catalog, Flow Designer, and custom modules • Design and oversee integrations between ServiceNow HAM, enterprise systems, discovery tools, and asset inventory systems • Establish data quality standards, governance frameworks, and reconciliation processes • Architect tracking for hardware asset costs, depreciation, leases, contracts, and TCO analysis • Automate asset-related financial processes and reporting • Develop hardware asset utilization, lifecycle optimization, and refresh-planning strategies • Establish architectural standards, best practices, and governance policies • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and oversight to developers, administrators, and implementation partners • Lead technical design reviews • Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, IT, and Compliance leaders to gather requirements, build consensus, and drive adoption • Monitor ServiceNow HAM features, industry trends, and emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience) • 10+ years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a ServiceNow Architect role • Deep and demonstrable expertise with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) module • Extensive hands-on experience and architectural expertise with ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery, specifically tailored for hardware assets • Proven experience designing and implementing complex integrations between ServiceNow HAM and other systems • Comprehensive understanding of the entire hardware asset lifecycle, from strategic planning and procurement through deployment, maintenance, and disposal • Proficiency in ServiceNow platform capabilities, including Flow Designer, Service Portal, Custom Application Development, Scripting (JavaScript) and best practices • Strong understanding of ITIL principles, particularly as they apply to asset management • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills • Active secret clearance • ServiceNow CIS-HAM certification is highly advantageous • ServiceNow CSA and other relevant CIS certifications are desired • Experience with ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM), industry asset management standards, mobile asset management solutions, financial asset-management concepts, and government contracting are desired
