📋 Description

• Build key opinion leader partnerships through scientific and medical information exchange with HCPs, researchers, professional organization leaders, and formulary decision-makers • Establish and maintain educational and research collaborations • Identify and develop national, regional, and local thought leaders for medical education, clinical research, and publication opportunities • Cultivate KOL relationships for advisory boards, investigator-initiated research, company-sponsored research, and speaker development • Provide field insights to managers and teams • Identify opportunities and provide scientific education and medical support to HCPs • Foster professional relationships with key institutions within the assigned geography • Facilitate cross-functional engagement based on customer needs • Represent Chiesi Global Rare Diseases Medical Affairs at scientific meetings • Support clinical research initiatives and collaborative projects • Deliver medical education presentations • Gather and disseminate competitive intelligence in accordance with company policies • Participate in internal therapeutic advisory groups, medical meetings, journal clubs, and team meetings • Plan with business partners to optimize customer experience • Lead and support internal medical projects and cross-functional projects • Contribute to clinical research, medical education materials, and internal training • Mentor and support new team members through onboarding • Complete field activity documentation, expense reports, and administrative reports accurately and on time • Complete required training and maintain therapeutic-area expertise and professional licenses/certifications • Travel up to 75% as necessary to meet job requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Completion of a graduate-level degree (PharmD., M.D., D.O., DNP, PhD, MSN, MS, or equivalent healthcare professional degree) along with relevant clinical experience • Post-graduate residency training along with 1–2 years of MSL or relevant clinical experience in the assigned therapeutic area; exception for PhD candidates with requisite experience • Cardio-Metabolic experience highly preferred • Scientific and clinical expertise in the assigned therapeutic area • Exceptional clinical, pharmacoeconomic, and real-world evidence knowledge and business acumen • Ability to build and leverage strategic internal and external relationships • Ability to work effectively on diverse, multidisciplinary teams • Planning, prioritization, and execution of multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to deliver formal and informal presentations and explain complex scientific ideas • Ability to provide scientifically sound information to KOLs and HCPs • Ability to ask insightful questions and communicate diplomatically using evidence-based positions • Ability to maintain professional licensing/certifications • Willingness to complete required training and assessments • Candidates should live in or near ND, SD, NE, KS, MN, IA, MO, WI, IL, MI, IN, OH, or KY
