📋 Description

• Design, deliver, and evaluate training programs for travel advisors and agency partners • Work with internal stakeholders to align training initiatives with company goals • Develop, execute, and lead workshops and webinars • Build online learning sessions • Develop detailed curricula for Travel Leaders Network products and services • Create training manuals, guides, tip sheets, video tutorials, and interactive e-learning modules • Design and administer certification programs for travel advisors • Conduct needs assessments using surveys, polls, whiteboards, and performance data analysis • Customize training content to Travel Leaders Network’s needs • Review and modify specialist programs to keep courses current and aligned with the travel industry • Complete timely reports of training activities • Develop, facilitate, and manage classroom training for annual in-person conferences and other in-person events • Provide customer service support through email and phone calls • Lead engaging in-person and virtual training sessions using varied instructional techniques • Leverage LMS platforms, interactive webinars, and other training technologies to drive program adoption and utilization • Organize and conduct workshops and seminars on AI, sales techniques, customer service, and risk management • Collect and analyze attendee feedback to improve training programs • Monitor industry trends, new travel products, and emerging destinations to keep content current • Maintain learner records and enter data accurately and promptly • Manage assigned projects within time and budget constraints

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years of travel advisor leisure sales experience selling travel at $750,000+ annual sales or equivalent work experience as a travel agency manager or owner role • Minimum 5 years of experience as a trainer in the travel industry, preferably within a travel agency or consortium setting • Industry credentials with CLIA, ASTA, ACTA and The Travel Institute are a plus • Excellent comprehensive curriculum development skills with proven track record • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent project management skills with adherence to strict timeframes and deadlines • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced PowerPoint skills • Strong professionalism and presentation skills • Ability to work independently and within a group • Sound working knowledge of adult learning theory • Proven track record using webinar tools, including development and delivery of virtual classes and workshops, is a plus • Background and experience in Accessible Travel, Honeymoon & Destination Wedding Travel, Luxury Travel, Leisure Travel, Corporate Travel, Group Travel, Family Travel, Sustainable Travel, Active & Adventure, or Duty of Care is a major plus • Proficiency in instructional design principles and techniques, including ADDIE • Expertise in e-learning software such as Articulate and Camtasia, LMS platforms, and virtual training tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams • Strong organizational and project management skills, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines • Ability to adapt training methods to diverse learning needs and technology skill levels • Solid written communication skills • Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time
