📋 Description

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for international locations • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payroll delivery under local, state, and federal regulations • Lead, mentor, and develop a geographically dispersed payroll team • Set performance goals, conduct regular reviews, and support professional development • Ensure compliance with country-specific labor laws, tax requirements, and organizational policies • Monitor regulatory changes and implement process updates • Identify and implement payroll best practices and process enhancements • Increase payroll accuracy, efficiency, and automation across regions • Manage third-party payroll providers, technology vendors, and consultants • Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring • Oversee internal and external payroll audits • Prepare and present payroll reports and analytics to executive leadership • Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, and IT teams • Lead and participate in global payroll projects, including system implementations, mergers and acquisitions, and process standardization • Resolve complex payroll issues and inquiries from employees and management

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience may be substituted for formal education • Master’s degree preferred • 10+ years of progressive payroll experience • At least 5 years in a global payroll leadership role • US and India experience strongly preferred • Extensive knowledge of international payroll practices, regulations, and tax laws • Experience with Workday Payroll, Absence, and Timekeeping SKUs • Experience managing payroll teams across multiple countries and time zones • Strong project management skills and experience leading large-scale payroll initiatives • Knowledge of SOX controls, GDPR, and audit processes • Strategic thinking and ability to align payroll operations with organizational goals • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills • High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities • Proven ability to drive process improvements and manage change in complex environments • Strong ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global, and culturally diverse environment • Must currently reside in one of the eligible U.S. states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, or West Virginia
