📋 Description

• Assist in managing and executing creative social media strategies across multiple platforms • Craft informative videos and eye-catching graphics about weather-related topics • Stay current on social media trends • Analyze social media data and contribute to engaging campaigns • Source user-generated content and obtain usage permission from owners • Pitch daily weather-related content ideas • Coordinate multiple sources, feeds, and personnel contributing to social channels • Monitor social networks for testimonials, questions, comments, and user-generated content • Engage with users and coordinate with internal departments to resolve issues • Analyze AccuWeather and competitor data using internal and external social media analytics tools • Research changes to social networks through industry blogs, news, and online webinars • Create trend reports on weather-related topics and culturally relevant conversations • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Pursuing a 4-year Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, or a related field that requires experience in writing • Demonstrated knowledge and experience using Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms • Basic image editing knowledge • Ability to develop an understanding of basic scientific and meteorological concepts to explain them to the audience • Must be willing to work evenings and weekends • Excellent verbal and communication skills • Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and under pressure
