• Research, develop, validate, and maintain discipline-specific construction cost data, including items for new construction, renovation, maintenance, life cycle costs, and discipline-specific cost collections. • Work closely with a team of subject matter experts. • Coordinate efforts across the team to unify cost data. • Cost data development will reflect current and realistic material, equipment, and labor efforts. • Implement emerging trends and technology into current and future cost data.
• Must have bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 10-years’ experience (or 15 years of experience without a degree). • Experience in construction cost estimating and field experience in one or more disciplines (including civil, plumbing, electrical and HVAC). • Candidates must have expert-level knowledge of practices, equipment and materials used in construction. • Candidates require good writing skills, good verbal communication skills, and attention to detail; and work well independently and collaboratively. • Able to work in Windows based and Cloud-based software programs.
