• Lead a team of Diagnostic Hematology Specialists to exceed sales goals • Make day-to-day sales function decisions, including deploying resources, allocating costs, and directing sales activities • Develop and implement area and territory sales plans • Select, hire, train, develop, and manage Diagnostic Hematology Specialists within a defined geographic region • Manage sales results, sales activities, and cross-functional initiatives across the defined geography • Identify key issues and commit to action after developing solutions aligned with strategic objectives, resource constraints, and organizational values • Establish individual team member goals and align them with broader team and company objectives • Provide coaching and consistent feedback to drive performance, accountability, growth, and development • Create an environment of belonging, respect, and open communication • Evaluate, coach, and lead the performance of Diagnostics Hematology Specialists • Conduct annual and ongoing performance reviews • Direct execution of sales strategies, tactics, and sales and marketing plans • Collaborate cross-functionally with KAM, NAM, MSL, and internal partner teams • Develop and maintain key customer relationships and assist with mutually beneficial business solutions • Ensure compliance and training • Prepare individuals for future development • Perform other assigned duties
• A. / B.S. plus 12 years of related experience in pharmaceutical, diagnostic, biotech, or medical device sales; preferably in Hematology/Oncology • 2+ years of sales management experience in Hematology/Oncology and/or diagnostics • Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners to access resources and maximize outcomes • Excellent listening, time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills • Ability to own and drive regular strategy, collaboration, and coordination discussions with the Regional Director • Ability to communicate the relevant application of the company’s technology to a wide range of research specialties • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and bring together appropriate internal resources to meet customer needs • Ability to operate confidently and self-sufficiently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment • Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM database to manage territory business • Willingness and ability to travel frequently; travel requirements may exceed 60% • Must not require work authorization sponsorship for this position
