📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and grow a distributed analytics team across multiple time zones • Establish priorities, set goals, and manage performance to foster a high-performing analytics organization • Develop and implement analytics standards, best practices, and processes to ensure quality and consistency • Architect, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, event streams, and ingestion frameworks for analytics, product features, and ML applications • Oversee the design and implementation of cloud-native data infrastructure, including data warehouses, lakes, transformation layers, and orchestration • Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and observability across data systems • Oversee and guide dashboards, automated reports, and analytics tools using BI platforms such as Tableau, Looker, and Power BI • Ensure robust data pipelines, reliable metrics, and scalable reporting solutions in collaboration with data engineering • Prioritize analytics projects, balance roadmap demands, and ensure timely delivery • Champion analytical excellence, including experiment design, KPI definition, and model validation • Partner with product, analytics, and business leaders to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and scalable • Strengthen analytics capabilities and deliver actionable insights that drive organizational decision-making

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Systems, or a related quantitative field • 7+ years of professional experience in data engineering, data platform development, or related fields, including managing data teams • Deep experience with modern cloud data ecosystems, such as Snowflake, BigQuery, and AWS/Azure/GCP data services • Expertise building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt, Apache Airflow, Spark, or similar orchestration frameworks • Strong SQL and programming skills in Python, Scala, or similar languages • Experience with data modeling, schema design, and real-time data ingestion strategies • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex analyses to non-technical stakeholders • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment • At this time, candidates must have current and valid authorization to work in the country where they are applying • Preferred: experience managing internationally distributed teams • Preferred: familiarity with cloud data platforms and modern analytics stacks • Preferred: experience with statistical modeling or data science techniques
