• Manage all aspects of travel management for VIP corporate clients • Serve as lead for the VIP Team under operations management guidance • Support day-to-day VIP Team and corporate account operations • Act as subject matter expert and first-level support for agents on applications, processes, procedures, and policies • Escalate issues to management as needed • Assist with agent training on accounts, policies, and procedures • Execute Sabre spectra’s and ensure transactions meet contractual requirements • Assist with queue management and ensure tasks are completed within Service Level Agreements • Ensure tickets are issued and assist with issuing when needed • Identify process and workflow efficiencies and training opportunities; recommend improvements to management • Update job aids and account documentation • Liaise with clients when management is unavailable • Research customer service issues through resolution • Answer client calls and emails for new arrangements and itinerary changes • Book and issue airline, hotel, car, and other reservations using Sabre • Check queues daily for accuracy and completeness of issued tickets • Maintain service non-stop programs, including preferred vendors, Waiver/Favors, RezCritiques, and Vacation Referrals • Provide travel expertise and send domestic and international travel quotes • Decipher fare rules and understand Open Skies and FAA rules • Meet management-defined KPIs, including productivity and transaction targets • Communicate with airlines regarding flight changes, seating, and upgrades; update clients • Follow ADTRAV policies, procedures, and approved workflows • Provide excellent customer service and resolve traveler issues • Communicate with agents and employees to solve problems and service travelers • Participate in ongoing industry training • Represent ADTRAV and maintain effective relationships with employees, partners, vendors, and clients • Adhere to company policies and procedures • Perform other duties as assigned
• High school diploma or equivalent required • At least 5 years of experience booking domestic and international travel; complex international a plus • Experience working with VIP clients and providing high touch, white glove service • Experience as a senior travel consultant or mentor a plus • Prior experience with Visa/Passports preferred • Strong international background in geographical locations and rate structures • Experience using a GDS system; Sabre required, Amadeus a plus • Highly knowledgeable of city, airline, hotel, and car rental codes • Understanding of federal travel regulations, Fly America Act, and Open Skies Agreement • Ability to weigh cost benefits and recommend alternate travel options within corporate policy • Strong computer and typing skills, including navigating quickly between programs and using shortcut keys • Demonstrated experience learning and using technology and multiple applications and monitors simultaneously • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) • Highly proficient in business writing, grammar, and spelling • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills • Excellent listening skills • Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks with minimal supervision • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities • Leadership traits to motivate, communicate, and provide feedback • Discretion and judgment when providing feedback, guidance, clarification, and training • Professional and positive demeanor; ability to work cooperatively • Ability to work remotely and meet company home-office requirements • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods • Ability to successfully attend and pass new hire and department-specific training • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and client information • Ability to work Monday-Friday within 7am-7pm CT • Ability to work some weekends and holidays as needed • Ability to pass a credit, criminal, and/or employment reference background check • Ability to pass a government clearance process as required by clients
