📋 Description

• Review, draft, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements, including health plan, provider, subcontractor, commercial service, business associate, confidentiality, vendor, technology, and employment-related agreements • Ensure contract terms comply with company policies, minimize risk, and align with operational needs • Advise internal teams on contract terms, business implications, and practical solutions • Coordinate inbound and outbound client contracts through the review process • Route contract provisions to operations, finance, compliance, and other business owners for review and approval • Track contract status from initial request through execution and follow up to keep timelines on schedule • Maintain contract files, templates, clause libraries, corporate legal records, contract repositories, entity documents, and compliance files • Assist with Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and health plan compliance and governance activities • Assist with regulatory filings, annual reports, audits, and client reviews • Provide general legal support to legal, compliance, and business teams

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school required • 5–7 years of experience as an attorney reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts • Healthcare industry and healthcare-related contracting experience preferred, including health plan and provider contracting • Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms, indemnification, HIPAA, privacy and data-sharing rules, and risk-mitigation strategies • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across functions • High ethical standards • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
