📋 Description

• Lead enterprise-wide Procurement strategy covering Spend Visibility, Stakeholder Engagement, Sourcing Strategies, Organizational Design, Performance Measurement, and Policy, Process and Systems • Adapt and improve Advarra’s Procurement and Source-to-Pay capabilities • Own Sourcing and Buying activities within the Source-to-Pay process • Design, implement, and oversee cross-functional vendor-onboarding workflows • Lead strategic sourcing across seven major spending categories • Source Technology and Business Services primarily, and Travel, Marketing, and Operations secondarily • Collaborate with stakeholders to award business to qualified vendors • Track and regularly report value realized from strategic sourcing to Advarra leadership • Standardize the stakeholder experience for vendor onboarding • Build and lead a Procurement team, including hiring, managing, training, mentoring, and developing team members • Oversee procurement governance, policy, and the multi-year roadmap • Lead a procurement steering committee and ensure prioritization and escalation with executive leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, engineering, technology, or similar • Five or more years of experience in Procurement as a Category Manager • Experience sourcing Technology and Business Services • Professional negotiation experience and training to lead effective vendor negotiations with new or renewing vendors • Experience with mature Source-to-Pay processes enabled by systems such as ERPs, Spend Visibility Tools, and Contract Lifecycle Management tools • CPSM, CPP, or similar designation • Experience working across functions such as Marketing, Human Resources, Technology, and Operations • Talent for data analytics, master data management, and information presentation • Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods at a stationary workstation • Ability to regularly carry, raise, and lower objects up to 10 lbs • Ability to learn and comprehend basic instructions • Focus and attention to tasks and responsibilities • Verbal communication, listening and understanding, responding, and speaking
