📋 Description

• Oversee greenfield and add/move/change projects for colocation and hyperscale data centers from due diligence through construction administration • Lead data center due diligence, planning, and design teams • Deliver projects on schedule and to a high degree of quality • Develop prototype designs, test fits, mass grading, stormwater management, utility prepositioning and design, and on- and off-site roadways • Develop and enforce multi-site project and program management plans • Host and attend meetings with clients and external stakeholders • Manage and communicate project changes within AECOM and to clients • Identify and mitigate project risks with creative solutions • Communicate project updates and resolve outstanding issues • Develop technical and financial proposals for data center design projects • Develop relationships with clients and sub/partner consultants • Coach junior staff and support professional growth • Foster accountability, innovation, and strategic thinking • Collaborate with global AECOM data center teams on high-profile projects • Travel occasionally for client meetings, key project milestones, onsite collaboration sessions, or other business-critical activities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering plus eight (8) years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • Professional Engineer (P.E.) License • Demonstrated experience with colocation and hyperscale data center projects • Master’s degree in Civil or Construction Engineering, or Business Administration (preferred) • Six years of relevant experience in industrial and data center design and/or project management (preferred) • Lean Six Sigma Certification (preferred) • Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Professional (preferred) • Active or recent leadership in a data center and mission-critical trade organization (preferred) • Excellent written and oral communication • Ability to work in dynamic, time-sensitive situations with minimal oversight • Team leadership skills • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills • Sponsorship is available for this role • Relocation is not available for this role
