• Manage large national accounts • Build direct client relationships in support of sales efforts through account servicing and in-person meetings • Serve as primary engineering or architectural lead for national accounts • Maintain a technical review load and delegate reviews to support staff as needed • Ensure projects are staffed, performed to high quality standards, and delivered on time • Manage Building Assessment projects completed by associate consultants (1099s) • Ensure projects meet client goals and scope expectations • Train and mentor junior staff • Develop an in-depth understanding of client goals and facilitate consulting delivery • Perform and review commercial real estate consulting projects, including due diligence, regulatory programs, and field investigations
• 10+ years of experience preferred for the ideal candidate • Previous experience performing Property Condition Assessments (PCAs) and assessing buildings using comprehensive engineering/architectural practices required • Previous experience performing and reviewing Equity projects preferred • Knowledge of assessing commercial, manufacturing/industrial, office, retail, shopping center, and multi-family properties • Experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, or HUD guidelines and Property Needs Assessments strongly preferred • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills • Personable and able to communicate with people at all levels • Willingness to travel if necessary • Ability to work productively and independently on multiple projects under strict deadlines • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat • Significant design and/or construction experience • Experience in construction management preferred • Experience managing vendors and subcontractors a plus • Bidding and project cost estimation experience • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management required • Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) certification preferred • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions • Ability to sit, type, handle office and/or field equipment, speak, and hear • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, balance, kneel, or crouch • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds • Close vision and ability to focus
