• Manage compensation administration teams for SIRVA’s global mobility clients • Support Compensation Services Specialists as the daily point of contact for compensation tasks • Create global cost projections, letters of assignment, compensation worksheets, and year-end reporting • Interact with client home and host payroll teams • Reconcile monthly and periodic payrolls • Accumulate worldwide compensation data • Participate in all phases of the compensation process, including troubleshooting, new process implementation, and ongoing service delivery • Build internal and external working relationships and present to stakeholders • Participate in client meetings and conference calls as required • Partner across business areas to ensure quality payroll service and resolve issues • Achieve operational effectiveness, productivity improvement, revenue generation, and client retention goals • Manage productivity tracking, SLA metrics, and FTE allocation tracking • Participate in budgeting and revenue reconciliation exercises • Hire and interview candidates • Conduct performance appraisals and ongoing performance management • Mentor, coach, and develop associates • Promote open communication, trust, respect, and positive morale • Ensure standard operational processes and practices are in place • Develop team members for current roles and future opportunities
• High school diploma or equivalent • Experience working for an accounting firm or other professional group responsible for calculation and reporting of expatriate compensation required • 3+ years of experience managing compensation and/or payroll teams preferred • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present in an articulate and professional manner • Ability to deliver creative and thoughtful solutions • Ability to learn from mistakes and take preventative measures • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize • Ability to work as a team player, consider diverse views and opinions, and delegate effectively • Cultural sensitivity and ability to operate effectively in varied business and cultural environments • Ability to document and train process flows in a high-volume environment • University/college degree in business or a related field preferred
